Tidow can organize, move, rename, and clean files. Rules can use file type, extension, filename, download source, age, size, and, where supported, on-device document content recognition. Users can review and edit rules before activation. Cleanup actions move files to the macOS Trash. Tidow records its actions in an activity history and can run from the menu bar.

## Privacy

Tidow is designed to process rule matching, file actions, cleanup checks, and activity history locally on the Mac. It does not upload the Downloads folder, file contents, filenames, folder paths, or rule data to a Tidow server for processing.
